Funny that since we got to the Euros, changing currency is even worse than it was... We still could do in a few bank or at the post office (best exchange rate) but now.... it's impossible in Saint Remy de Provence. I tried to go to my bank with my friend and if I was to put foreing currencies onto my account (which luckily I still can !!!) money would only be credited within 3 days....
So be warned and get your money changed in big cities at bureau de change or at some post office (near St Remy, you can go to the post office in Arles or Aix en Provence).
Don't i love our French way of making things difficult....
